Getting Started with Launchpads

Korbyt Launchpads offer a powerful way to streamline your content deployment process. Here’s how to set up and use this time-saving feature:

Creating Your Launchpad Template

1. Access the Layout Menu:
   • Open the Mega Menu
   • Navigate to Content > Layouts
   • Click the Predefined Layouts icon in the upper right
   • Select “Add Predefined Layout”
2. Configure Essential Settings:
   • Name your template
   • Check “Enable as Launchpad” to make it available in the Launchpad section
   • Select “Publish to Players/Player Groups” for automatic content deployment

Key Configuration Options

Direct Publishing Setup

When configuring your Launchpad, you have two powerful options:

• Full Screen Content: Enable “Publish to Players/Player Groups” to automatically create new playlists and display content full-screen
• Screen Area Control: Leave “Publish to Players/Player Groups” unchecked to create content for specific screen areas like tickers

Content Control Features

Customize how users interact with media in your template:

• Media Library Only: Restrict users to selecting from approved content
• File Upload: Allow users to upload new media
• Both Options: Enable flexibility by allowing either approach

• Log into your Korbyt CMS
• If you have multiple Korbyt products
  • open the Mega Menu
  • Select Korbyt Booking
    
• You should now be seeing your Calendar Home Screen
  • You can also select the Calendar Home Screen by clicking onin the Mega Menu

Navigating the Calendar Home Screen

Your calendar serves as a dynamic dashboard and scheduling tool.
It shows the status of bookings, room availability, services, and more all in real time.

Quick Booking via the Calendar

You can create new bookings from the homepage calendar view

• Double-click the time block for the resource you would like to book
   
• Enter the Title and Booking Details
• Click Save to schedule the meeting
  
  • Or click Advanced Options to continue the booking in the full Booking Menu

Editing Bookings via the Calendar

You can modify your booking right from the calendar.
Simple changes can be made without opening your booking. 

• Hover your mouse over the event to see more event details
  
• Right-click on the event to open the quick action list
  
• ​Double-click to open the event in the Booking Menu to make complex changes

Creating a New Booking via Bookings Menu

• Open the Mega Menu 
• In the Bookings column click New Booking
• You will see the full New Booking screen
  
  • Booking Information (Title, Host, etc.) is to the left
  • Specific meeting detail sections are listed across the top of the working area
• Fill in the details of the type of space you require then and click Search
• You will then see available spaces that match your requirements
• Click +Add to select the resources needed
  
  • A single booking can include multiple rooms
• Click Continue in the lower right to confirm your resource selections
  
• You can now move through the other sections of the booking details by clicking the section at the top
• Meeting recurrence can be selected using the blue navigation bar
  
• At any time, you can use the Confirm button dropdown in the upper right
  
  • Save will save your selections up to that point and leave you in the editing screen
  • Save & Exit will save your selections and return you to the Calendar Homepage
  • Exit without saving will abandon your selections

• Attendees can be internal or external to the organization
  
  • For Internal click the +Add Attendees button
    • Use the popup to search for the internal resource and set their booking role
      
    • Click Add to finalize
  • For External Attendees fill in their info and click save
  • Either use the Confirm drop down to save or move on to the Services section

• Services that have been defined within your system (AV/IT, Catering, etc.) can be added to your booking
  1. Click the Services button in the top ribbon
  2. Navigate to the Department tab of the service(s) you would like to add (or search all services)
  3. Edit the quantity as needed, click Add
  4. Your service item(s) will be added to your booking on the right

• Booking Summary shows all the details for the meeting that have been selected
  

• Remember to use the Confirm button dropdown in the upper right to save your meeting details

Searching For and Editing Bookings

• Open the Mega Menu 
• In the Bookings column select click Booking Search
• You will then see the Booking Search screen
  
• Enter your search parameters and click Search
• Bookings that match your criteria will show in the list
  
• Click on the Booking Title to open the meeting in the full editor
• Use the Copy / Move / Recur buttons to take those actions

Canceling a Booking

A booking can be canceled from the Calendar Homepage

• Right-click on the event in the Calendar
• Hover over Cancel at the bottom of the list
• Select the type of cancelation you want

Bookings can also be canceled from within the full editing menu

• Search for and open your booking for editing
• In the left configuration panel, switch the status to Cancelled
• OR click Cancel in the blue navigation bar

This document outlines specific selected products and application usage to determine the recommended minimum configurations for Korbyt On-Premise and Hybrid server software. Unless otherwise specified, the customer is responsible for the provisioning and setup of any network/LAN devices and/or connections.

Hardware that does not meet the minimum requirements may result in varying degrees of performance degradation or failure to operate. Korbyt Technical Support may require bringing the hardware platform into compliance before support can be provided. Additional professional services may be required for hardware to meet the recommended minimum requirements.

Any recommendations made by Korbyt regarding the clients’ personal computers, servers, and applications are based on Korbyt’s experience and understanding of the intended use of Korbyt products. As with any computer-based system, individual requirements and performance may vary.

The optimal configuration of software and hardware may depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to: the configuration of the installed Korbyt software, outbound message activity, the number of attached endpoints, the number and complexity of applications monitored, the size and complexity of the user program options selected, the amount and rate of delivery of the data to the personal computer where the Korbyt™ server system resides, and other computer systems.

Korbyt™ On-Premise Hardware and Software Requirements for Server

Hardware requirements may vary depending on the individual installation demands.  Examples of factors that result in increased hardware requirements are:

• Large content demands (i.e. a large number of videos)
• Large data collection demands
• A very low data collection interval
• A large number of media players

Supported Operating Systems

• Ubuntu 22.04 LTS 64-bit (Preferred)
  • Installed with no GUI
  • Minimal installation option

• or

• RedHat Enterprise Linux 8.6 – 8.8 (no support for 9.x)
  • RHEL requires approval by Korbyt
  • This is only supported where the Korbyt application controls the root account and the server is treated as an appliance and not a multi-purpose server.
  • If there are special requests and needs on the dedicated server, then the solution will need to be on Ubuntu 22.04.
  • The customer must provide a RHEL license key and/or login

Interactive Elements in the Layout Builder

The Layout Builder lets users create designs with multiple content types all sharing the same screen space by placing multiple Elements together.

Elements are drag-and-drop content types that can be configured for various use cases.
Some Elements are interactive or allow interactivity through their normal behavior.

Element	Description
	Adds an interactive room, floor, or building map within Korbyt Wayfinding & Space Management. Can be interacted with via a kiosk, or on a smartphone via QR Code How to Use the Map Element
	Allows you to add a scheduling experience for your workplace. This element is interactive when displayed on a player and can view room schedules and book rooms for use. Outlook and Google calendars are supported. How to Use the Room Scheduling Element
	For interactive use cases like kiosks, Wayfinding, or simple toggling of items. Adds an interactive Button that can be linked to Room Booking, IFTTT programming, or other Kiosk Pages. How to Use Button Element

	Creates a list of files based on the content that has been loaded to a specific folder within the Media Manager. The list shows Thumbnails and file names, allowing the user to click the file to view it How to Use the File List Element
	Creates a QR Code that will direct a person who scans it to a specific website. The colors of the QR code are customizable. How to Add a QR Code
	Adds a meeting display element that creates a meeting room door sign this is linked to room schedule data that is provided through a Data Adapter within Korbyt. Requires that a Data Adapter has been configured and the design subscribes to that data. How to Use the Meeting Display Element
	Adds a document that has been uploaded to Media Manager. Can set display time between pages, or if interactive can be paged manually How to Add Documents to a Layout
	Layout Only – Builds an interactive form that someone could fill out on a Kiosk or on a Sonar. How to Use the Form Builder
	Layout Only – Links to a Survey Built in Korbyt Anywhere within the Survey Tool. How to Build a Survey
	Adds an element that can hold custom HTML code. That custom code with then appear in the Builder Tool. If the HTML Code contains interactive features, users can interact with them. How to Use the HTML Container Element
	Allows you to link to Tableau data using your Tableau credentials to make a Tableau dashboard seen in a Layout or Message. Can be made interactive allowing a viewer to toggle between tabs and change data views How to Set up Tableau Element
	Layout Only – Pulls in data from the PowerBi Service with Microsoft for data visualization. Can be made interactive allowing a viewer to toggle between tabs and change data views How to Add PowerBi

Quick Actions in the Layout Builder for User Interactivity

Quick Actions allows designers to embed interactive logic and macros into any Layout.
This is done using the UI to select an element, configure a trigger, and then the desired response.

This interactivity is done by applying instructions to elements that already exist in a Layout without changing to a whole new layout.

Common Use Cases of Quick Actions:

• Toggling visibility of a set message or element
• Sending a command to an element like Playlist or Carousel to change which item is displaying
• Refresh Data
• Trigger animations

Data Triggers for Automated Reactions

Data Triggers allow designers to embed reactive logic into any Layout controlled dynamically by the information provided in a Data Integration.
This is done using the UI to select an element, configure a Data Trigger, and then the desired response.

This type of change does not require any direct user action, but is programmed into the Layout to interact with your stream of data

Common Use Cases of Data Triggers:

• Changing formatting of text to draw attention to KPI values
• Toggling visibility of a set message or element to drive specific actions

Kiosk Builder

Korbyt Kiosk Builder allows you to build a collection of Layouts/templates that end users can navigate through using interactive touch screens or keyboard/mouse.

Unlike Quick actions that stay on 1 layout and toggle items Kiosk allow the user to move through multiple “pages” of layouts offering more customization and variation.

Kiosk builder includes the ability to enable and configure Interactivity Analytics to provide feedback on user engagement.

Optics

Optics is a subscription-based Korbyt feature for Digital Signage that uses a USB camera attached to a media player to interact with end users by changing the playlist that is being displayed.

Content can be set to change based on the number of Detected users and Dwell-Time.

Collected data is text-only and used for content automation purposes and Analytics on user engagement.

To have Korbyt Media Players provision successfully and reach Korbyt in the cloud, the following requirements must be followed:

• The Media Player needs to be assigned a DNS server from DHCP or manually.
• The Media Player needs to be able to reach a DNS server(step 1) that can resolve our external domain name (*.korbyt.com)
• Whitelist Korbyt.com – *.korbyt.com will need to be whitelisted in order for subdomains and external sources to be able to be accessed.
  • Note: Domain whitelisting must be used, as IP’s for Korbyt are dynamically assigned.

• Ports used for Cloud
  • Port 443 Outbound    – is required for the players to connect to Korbyt in the cloud.
  • Port 443 Inbound        – is required for access to the web interface of the players (from your INTERNAL network only, not inbound from the cloud)

• Ports used for Hybrid
  • Port 443 Outbound    – is required for the players to connect to Korbyt in the cloud.
  • Port 443 Inbound        – is required for access to the web interface of the players (from your INTERNAL network only, not inbound from the cloud)
  • Port 80 Outbound       – is required for Hybrid installs in addition to those listed above
  • Port 8081 Outbound – (Content Caching Service) is required for Hybridinstalls in addition to those listed above. This port is also used for communication from the players to the On-Prem server.
  • Port 8085 Outbound – (Web Services) is required for Hybrid in addition to those listed above This port is also used for communication from the players to the On-Prem server.

The ports above are Korbyt Standard Connections for Cloud and Hybrid Service

If you are using Brightsign Devices you may have to configure additional permissions in your network to allow Brightsign functionality.
This Brightsign support article provides details on their requirements – BrightSign Network – ports and URLs for the BrightSign players

If you have a custom configuration in your Korbty service, additional ports and whitelisting may also be required.

Fully On Premises Korbyt services require different port access

• Ports used for Full On-Premise
  • Standard
    • Port 80 Inbound – Access to player content and CMS interface
    • Port 8085 Inbound – Web Services
  • HTTPS (using a well-qualified certificate)

Glossary

• CMS – Content Management System.
• Clever Playlist – Allows for no-code triggering, dynamic content sourcing, and content block weighting.
• Courier – Korbyt Couriers provide Korbyt administrators the ability to set up automated content retrieval routines from web-based content repositories. Couriers support integration with Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, and Box. Couriers automatically drop content files (typically images or videos) into the Korbyt Media Library. Couriers also can assign tags to synced content and can be used to set up automated publishing routines when tags are used with Dynamic Playlists.
• Elements – Options used to create Layouts for Digital Signage. Can include Date, Time, Text, Images, Videos, sound, Maps, Twitter, LinkedIn, Calendar, WEB URLs, and others.
• HTML Embed Code: An embed code is a block of HTML that is placed on another page and renders a visual element — a video, social media post, form, or page — from another website or source. You can embed YouTube videos, Twitter posts, GIFs, and other multimedia objects on another website.

• Layout – A template that you create with the Layout Builder. Used to present content using useful elements for creating customizable visuals.
• Media Manager – Provides Korbyt Administrators with a searchable storage library for uploaded and Korbyt-created content including Layouts, videos, images, audio files, and documents.
• Predefined Layout – A Layout with regions that have been templatized so that other users can only modify the assigned regions of the template.
• Playlist – Playlists are linear loops of content set up for distribution to media players. Playlists may contain Layouts or full-screen Images and Videos. Playlists may be set to play at all dates and times or are set to play at specific scheduled intervals. There are two types of playlists: Static and Clever.
• Tag – Content administrators can add descriptive meta-data tags to Korbyt content, players, and users. Tags may then be used to search and create rules-driven messaging and playlists.

* Disclaimer: While Webex devices are rebranded to Cisco, please be aware that the instructions provided herein reflect the current setup requirements.

Korbyt Anywhere for Cisco enables Korbyt users to schedule and display content on any Cisco device. Use a Cisco device as any other digital signage endpoint to maximize your screen real estate.

Important! By using this feature, Korbyt will programmatically change your devices to enable Digital Signage mode and add the player URL automatically. (Image below is where Korbyt makes this change on your behalf).

Prerequisites:

• Must be signed in as Webex Admin
• Webex Devices provisioned to Webex account

How to provision Korbyt signage on your cisco devices:

1. Tag your Webex devices with ‘korbyt’ in the Webex Admin portal.
2. Go to your Korbyt tenant and sign in.
3. Click the gear icon in the top right of the homepage
4. On the setting page, navigate to the signage tab
5. Click connect in the webex section on the signage setting webpage 
   1. Please note, this currently will add Korbyt to all Webex RoomOS devices in your organization with the tag ‘korbyt’. Please make sure to tag your devices that should have their setting changed.
   2. If you would like to run a manual test on a few devices, skip this step and head to the bottom of the article.
6. Login into webex via the integration’s OAuth Authorization URL
7. Accept the request permissions
8. Once the browser redirects back to signage settings, the connect button will turn green and a “Download Bulk Provision CSV” button will pop up 
9. Click on bulk provision button to download a CSV with Korbyt provisioning info for each Cisco device in the webex account that you signed in with
   • If needed, modify the player metadata to be used in Korbyt later on
10. Click on the hamburger icon in the top left of the settings page
11. Under signage, click players
12. Click the bulk provision button 
13. Click choose file and select the downloaded csv
14. Click validate and preview
15. Click import

Now, you have successfully provisioned korbyt signage on your cisco device!

How to add the Korbyt player to a single device at a time, and not use bulk method:

1. Login to your Webex Admin Portal (admin.webex.com)
2. Navigate to the devices page.
3. Click on a registered device and capture the Mac Address of the device.
4. Go to the signage section of this device and enable digital signage. 
5. Then add your tenant specific Signage url (it will be ‘https://yoursubdomain.korbyt.com/pwa?mac=insert cisco device mac address without colons).

The Korbyt Content Management System provides several paths to streamlining content creation and submission with Predefined Layouts
Predefined Layout Templates, Once created, be configured to operate in different ways of accepting content and required approvals before being seen.

• Web Based Submissions from Outside Korbyt CMS
• Templates can receive input to the templatized sections through webforms
  • The Korbyt CMS users creates a template and shares it with others through a web address to the template
  • This allows individuals who are not Korbyt Users to submit a layout by filling out a web based form
  • When someone submits through the form it creates a new layout with their details in Draft status
  • A Korbyt CMS users who is a Content Approver or above would then have to publish the design

• Launchpads from within the Korbyt CMS
• Predefined Layout Templates can be programmed to be Launchpads
  • This allows Korbyt CMS users to create new Layouts based on the template
  • Those new Layouts can be configured to go directly to a screen via a new playlist or configured to control be fed into an existing playlist
    • This is how Launchpads can control tickers or other screen areas instead of creating a full screen image
  • The Launchpad process does not require approval from higher level users before it is seen on screens
  • A template created for Launchpad use can also be shared through the Web Based Submissions process, but then follows those steps for approval

The steps to create a new template are mostly the same for either use case, and differ only in some selections made in the details of the design

Creating New Predefined Layouts and Templates

To create predefined layouts:

• Open the Mega Menu and then under Content, click on Layouts 
• Click the Predefined Layouts  icon in the upper right (between filter and files).
• Click Add Predefined Layout.[Add screenshot]
  
• Configure your Template:
  
  • Provide a unique name
  • Optional – Add a Unique Tag, this will be used later in the Playlist to automate the content
  • Optional – Category Drop Down for Launchpads, will select a launchpad category
  • Configuration Check Boxes
    • Enable as Launchpad
      • If Checked it will add this template to the Launchpad Area of the CMS
      • If Unchecked it will not be available as a Korbyt Launchpad
    • Publish to Players/Player Groups – Applies to Launchpads
      • If Checked the Launchpad will publish directly to New Playlist directed at selected Players or Player Groups the user has access to and will be shown as Full Screen Content
      • If Unchecked, when used as a Launchpad it will only create new content that can then be put onto an existing playlist through automation or manual control
  • These options can be edited after initial creation of a predefined template by clicking on the edit info icon (lower case i in a circle)
• Click Create.

This will open a new Layout in the Builder Tool

• Use the Layout Builder to add placeholder text, images, and videos:
  •  Drag the element icon from the Controls dialog on to the canvas.
  • Add the necessary content.
  • Click the gear icon in the upper right of the square field and select Properties.
    
  • Click the Attribute tab.
    
  • Add a label.
  • Select the Templated checkbox. This will make it a space that a user can enter a value into
    
  • If it is a Media space (Image or Video) you will have the option to define where the media item has to come from
    • Leaving neither checked will allow the user to either Select from the Media Manager
    • Checking Media Library will force the user to select an item already uploaded to Korbyt
    • Checking File Upload will for the user to upload a new media item from their computer
• After all customizations have been implemented, click one of the following buttons at the bottom of the Controls dialog:
  • Save: Allows the layout to be saved on the fly to ensure that no changes are lost.
  • Publish: Makes the Template available to others for use based on the settings
• AFTER PUBLISHING click the info symbol for the design in the Layout List to make sure that it has save the correct configuration

End Users Experience

Once Created how your Predefined Designs will operate will be based on how you created them and how your end user interacts with them

  • The end users experience of Web Based Submission is the person using a webform to submit new content

  • For this process the end user has to be a registered Korbyt CMS user with access to launchpads
  • The result will be a design that is published and sent to a screen on a new playlist
    

• Launchpads can also be created and configured to be played in an area of a screen rather than a new playlist, see Launchpads for an Area of a Screen (Tickers)
  • In this process you can define a launchpad interface to control something like a ticker on a screen area

Logging In

• To log into the Korbyt Anywhere Content Management System (CMS) navigate to Korbyt.com/login
  • Chrome or Edge web browser are required for full functionality
• Enter your email address and password
  • Or use the SSO service configured for your tenant
• When you login you will be viewing the dashboard for your service
  • Navigation in the system is done through icons at the top of the screen

Navigating the Mega Menu

1. The Hamburger ICON in the upper left opens the Mega Menu
   • Giving access to all the features and services in the account
2. The Gear Icon in the upper right opens the settings menu
   • Letting administrators set system wide controls like Launchpad Behavior and
3. Hovering over the profile picture outline in the upper right corner will open the User Profile and the CMS User Management options
   • Letting individuals set a profile picture
   • Letting Administrator Manage and Add other CMS Users who can manage the system

There are settings within the Tenant that will change the appearance of the Desktop Application login Screen and establish the options that the end user will have when using the application.

Branding – Logos, Icons, Colors

The branding of the Desktop Applications Login Screen can be customized from within the Korbyt Tenant.

These branding settings only affect the login screen.  They do not affect any other section of the Desktop application. They will also only be seen after the initial login that asks for the Tenant Code.

Begin by clicking the settings Gear Icon in the upper right, and you will be shown the General settings section
On this screen you are able to set a Primary Color,  Stacked Logo, and Custom Loader.

• The Primary Color will be used to create a color gradient on the login screen
• The Stacked Logo will appear at the top of the login screen
• The Custom Loader is an image that will appear if the system has a moment where it is processing information from the system.
  • The Customer Loader will not always be seen by your end users, but may occasionally appear and can be customized with an static image or a GIF

Other settings in this section will not affect the Desktop Application, and are used for the Mobile, Web and Email Product

Desktop Interface Preferences – Application Icons and System Options

Administrators have the ability to disable several different icons and system tray options that the end user will have available to them

Begin by clicking the Settings Gear Icon in upper right, then selecting Desktop settings section
You will find two sections of options.  The default is that all options will be turned to the ON position
By toggling any of them to the OFF position will will remove that icon or option from ALL of your Desktop end users.

Application Icons

This refers to the icons that appear in the Desktop Message when the mouse moves to the upper right.
By toggling the sliders off in the system settings you will remove them from the end user’s experience.

System Tray Options

This refers to the options that will be available to the user when they right click the Korbyt Application Icon in the Windows System Tray.
Based on your Windows Taskbar and System Tray settings your users will likely need to click the Up Arrow to expose the full list of running system applications.
Right-Clicking the mouse on the Korbyt icon will show the System Tray Options

By toggling the sliders off in the system settings you will remove them from the end user’s experience.

A common choice is to remove the Change Password option from the list for installations that are using Single Sign On (SSO) to authenticate a user

End Users are those that will be logging into the Desktop Application
For your audience to be able to log into the Desktop application they have exist as a listed User in your tenant. If you subscribe to the Korbyt Anywhere Mobile, Web, & Email platform, that service shares the same Users list as the Desktop Application. You will not need to add the same person twice if they are a user of the Desktop application and the Mobile, Web, & Email service

This type of user is different than an account as a Content Manger in the CMS system. People who are already CMS users will need to also be listed with in the End User list to be able to login to the platforms in that way.

With multiple End Users in the system how they receive different Messages in the Desktop Application is by being members of different Audiences. Creating audiences is not required if all Desktop Users will be receiving the same message.

Adding End Users

To add End Users, Open the Mega Menu in the upper left, then Select Users under the Users & Audiences heading

• On the Users screen you can use the Add Users dropdown to start adding users

• Adding a Single User (one at time) will require setting each users information
  • Required are First Name, Last Name, and either an Email or a Username that the users will use to log into the service

• Adding users through either a One-Time Import or Scheduled Import will involved using a CSV file to fill in users information
  • When you select either One-Time Import or Scheduled Import a dialog box will open which will allow you to download a template that will have columns identified for where specific information is filled in
    
    • You can then upload your completed CSV File, Validate and Preview, and then Import your Users

Creating Audiences

Audiences can be created in Korbyt to Differentiate the messages that a group of End Users receives

• For example, a Desktop Message that specifically applies to Sales team members can be assigned specifically to a Sales Audience, if that audience has been created and defined
• If all End Users in your organization are going to receive the same message, then creating Audiences is not required

If you also use the Mobile, Web, and Email service from Korbyt Audiences will be shared between the two platforms

Message Builder

Messages refers to the highly customized and dynamic designs that can be created within Korbyt and then shown through the Desktop(InView) application.

Messages are very similar to Layouts for Signage, and use the same design tool interface to create them The Builder Tool

Messages can be found in the Mega Menu in the Desktop section

• You can change the view of the messages that already exist by toggling the folder view on and off
• You can take actions on individual messages that exist using the Action Icons to the right
  • Published and Draft Messages will have different options
• Published Messages are the ones that will be available to be assigned to an audience
  • A Message can only be Published by Content Approves and Higher

Clicking  Add Message, takes you through the steps to create a new message based on a starting design.
There are several options for the basis of a Message, but the most commonly used is a Default Template with a Single Zone

Creating a New Message, or clicking the Pencil Icon on an existing one will open the Builder Tool

Builder Tool

the Builder Tool is the GUI based design system used to create and edit Messages and Layouts in Korbyt

Items are added to the Message by clicking and dragging them from the Add Elements section of the Control Panel

To add an image to the Message you would click and drag the blue Image tile to the canvas

When you add an item to the Message it will be present in it’s own space, with a red highlighted border when you are interacting with it.

Items ton the canvas can be

• Moved by clicking and dragging the item
• Resized by clicking and dragging the lower right corner of the item
• Edited by clicking on the blue Gear icon in the upper right corner of the item

Playlist Option

If you do not want to design a Message Specifically for an Audience you will have the option in to Assign a Playlist instead.  Playlists are traditionally focused on Signage, but can be used in other ways like this.

Creating a Playlist

Playlists can be found by opening the Mega Menu and then clicking on Playlists at the top of the Schedule section.
You make the choice of which type of playlist you are building when on the Playlist Screen you click Add Playlist and then select either +Playlist or +Clever Playlist

Assignments

Assignments are what ties a specific Message or Playlist to an Audience of End Users

You can find Assignments in the Mega Menu in the Desktop section.

• You will see existing assignments to the left, their names based on the title of the item that is assigned
• If you click an existing assignment you will see a preview of the content assigned in the center
• To the right are the Audiences that are assigned the message
  • Below Audience are options for how this assignment will behave for the end user
• Clicking Add New will open a menu at the bottom where you can select from Published Messages or Playlists
• When you Select or Edit and Audience you will be able to select from the Audiences Create, or you can select Global Audience to send to all Users
