BrightSign devices have their own cloud control system, BSN Cloud, which is used to manage the hardware level settings, including installing the Korbyt partner application that will run on the BrightSign and allow it to connect to Korbyt.
You will need to connect your player to a BSN Cloud account before it can be connected to Korbyt.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The current recommended Brightsign firmware versions compatible with Korbyt software are
- Brightsign 4 series 8.5.47
- Brightsign 5 series 9.0.120
This is the version of Brightsign that should be used with the current Korbyt 3.12.3 software.
If you are using an older version of the Korbyt Player SW the Brightsign players must be on Brightsign version 8.4.14.
If your Brightsign player’s Firmware is not on one of the supported versions, you may find that you lose some player functionality while using the Korbyt software.
If you need assistance with getting your player on the correct firmware please reference our firmware upgrade and downgrade article HERE
