What are the different Resource types?
There are 4 primary resource types. These types include App Launcher, URL, File, and Data. These types allow you as the administrator to curate and target the tools to the end users and audiences.
As a user, these Resources are going to typically be tools you use daily. This area of the web and mobile application are your go to for completing daily tasks.
Resource Types
App Launcher
- This Resource type allows the user to forward themselves to other applications on their phone. Pre-defined app launchers for selection include Slack, Skype, Okta, Workday, and other popular business applications. Custom app’s can be added by choosing the ‘Custom Loader’ options. More info here
URL
- This Resource type allows the user to launch important web links right within the Korbyt Anywhere web and mobile applications.
File
- This Resource type allows the user to view documents within the Korbyt Anywhere application. Supported file types for this resource include: .jpg/.jpeg , .png, .bmp, .gif, .svg, .mp4, .webm, .avi, .mov, .mpeg, .doc/.docx, .odt, .pdf, .xls/.xlsx, .ods, .ppt/.pptx, .odp, .txt, .pages, .key, .number, .csv. Please keep in mind that iOS and Android support different video file types, mp4 is the recommended video file type to use.
Data
- This Resource type allows the user to view real-time data integrations directly from their app. Korbyt’s rich history of data integrations can be viewed from the mobile and web applications using the data builder features. Simply link this data message to a resource and now the user has live data at their fingertips.
