How to select a BrightSign player TimeZone via the BSN.Cloud and Korbyt CMS

The Steps below will walk the user on how to set/change the time zone using the BSN.Cloud and via Korbyt CMS.

  1. Login to the BSN.CLOUD, an account is needed (Signup is free). If you don’t have one you should be able to create one.
  2. From the Admin Tab go do the Device Setup Library:
  3. Edit the setup being used by the device, which could be the “default device”:
  4. Verify or Change the time zone, to the desired one
  5. Click on the Update Setup File in Library
  6. Click on the Admin dropdown to go to Device Provisioning
  7. Select the Device and Click the Apply Setup Button
  8. Select the Device Setup you edited
  9. Click on the Apply Setup button
  10. Click on the Network tab
  11. Access the Player Support Page by clicking on the Setting Cog on the Device listing
  12. Go To the Control Tab
  13. Click on the Update button in the Reprovision Device
  14. Click OK to confirm the reprovisioning and wait for the device to reboot
  15. To complete setting up the TimeZone, Connect to the Korbyt tenant
  16. Select the BrightSign player and click on Edit
  17. Under the Customer Properties select the “Set TimeZone”
  18. Click on the drop down and Select the desired time zone
  19. Under Actions click on the Reboot button to reboot the player
  20. Check the Option for “Next Hearbeat and click on Send Reboot button.
