How to use Launchpad
Launchpads allow a user to assign creative content to a display, regardless of skill level.
To get started, first log in to your Korbyt tenant. After doing so, you should be presented with your user dashboard. To access Launchpad, first open the main menu. Ensure you’ve selected the Signage menu. Then locate and select Launchpad, below the content heading.
Once the feature opens, you will be presented with a variety of Launchpad templates to use for your presentation. If none of the templates suit your needs, you can add your own by selecting the ‘Add Launchpad Template’ button in the top right corner. This allows you to add any predefined layout that you’ve created as a Launchpad template for later use.
If you have any questions on how to create a predefined layout, please refer to the Knowledge Base article that discusses creating predefined layouts.
Once you’ve located your preferred layout, tick the checkbox and press the Add button at the top.
After selecting your Launchpad template, you will be able to add messaging to personalize your presentation.
In order to select the players you want to use to display your message, click the select player/player groups button under configuration settings. This menu should be opened once you begin editing your Launchpad message, but if it has been closed, you can find it again by clicking on the Layout settings .
Choose your players or player groups and press Done.
You may wish to create a Launchpad message that expires on a specific date. In order to create a playlist with specified validity dates, please make sure that setting has been selected in Global Settings, under the signage submenu.
Once you’ve edited your message, publish your Launchpad to the players selected.
In order to preview your Launchpad, you will need to preview the content on a player you chose during your Launchpad setup.
Open the main menu and select players under the Device Management heading. Locate your player and press the preview button on the player card or list item.
