The Mobile and Web experiences are optimized to use a 2:1 landscape aspect ratio. In general, an image with a 2:1 landscape ratio (1000 pixels wide x 500 pixels tall) will tend to look the best across both web and mobile.
File Size and Formats
We support multiple file types when uploading images. You can upload .jpg/.jpeg, .png, and .bmp. While we don’t specifically limit image size, we recommend that files are less than 25MB, Any larger files will be compressed and potentially lose resolution and clarity.
Video files may be of type .mp4, .webm, .avi, .mov or .mpeg. When uploading a video in the content management system, we don’t limit the file size. When using your mobile device, videos should be less than 25 MB on Android devices and less than 120 seconds on Apple devices.
Character Count Limits
At Korbyt, we understand that there are limits to how many characters can be displayed in a single post field. To give your users the best experience possible, we standardized the character limits in key fields. You may find the limit is a soft limit or hard limit.
- Soft limits are the recommended character count for a field. While it is possible to type beyond the soft limit for a field, the best practice is to strictly adhere to the limit. If you exceed the soft limit, your user may be presented with a “…more” option to expand to the full or the text may be truncated.
- Hard limits are the maximum character count allowed for a field. You cannot type beyond the hard limit for a field.
|Field||Soft Limit||Expand with “…more”||Hard Limit|
